Download Microsoft Edge for Mac - Microsoft's new Chromium-based browser is now officially on macOS, with a brand new engine, support for Chrome extensions and a range of other improvements. Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and macOS users will all be able to download and install the new version of Edge today. Microsoft will be rolling this out via Windows Update to Windows 10. Follow these steps to download Microsoft Edge for Mac OSX: Go to the Microsoft Edge Insider website (link added below). Click on the Download Beta Channel for macOS. Hit on Accept and download button on the license terms dialog box.

The new Edge launched in preview mode last month, but only for Windows 10, with Windows 7, 8, and macOS versions promised for later. Now, even though Microsoft has yet to make an official announcement, Edge for Mac has arrived thanks to Twitter user and frequent Microsoft-leaker WalkingCat. If you want to reinstall Windows Media Player, try the following:

  1. Click the Start button, type features, and select Turn Windows features on or off.

  2. Scroll down and expand Media Features, clear the Windows Media Player check box, and click OK.

  3. Restart your device. Windows Media Player should be uninstalled.

  4. Repeat step 1.

  5. Scroll down and expand Media Features, select the Windows Media Player check box, and click OK.

  6. Restart your device. Windows Media player should now be reinstalled.
